A training workshop aimed at the socio-economic development and skill enhancement of destitute and marginalized women was held in Keshabpur—located on the banks of the Kopotaksho River in Jashore—with funding from the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF). The primary objective of this program, titled "Livestock and Dairy Cow Rearing Training," is to transform rural women into skilled human resources and create sustainable self-employment opportunities. This day-long training program was organized at Mangalkot Government Primary School in Keshabpur. During the workshop, various aspects of modern and scientific livestock rearing, disease prevention, and farm management were presented to the women in a very simple and accessible manner. The marginalized women who participated in the training stated that this type of practical education has significantly boosted their self-confidence. They are now keen to establish small-scale farms on their own initiative and take charge of their families' economic well-being. According to the organizers, this economic empowerment of women will bring about a major, positive shift in the rural economy.
