Benapole-petrapole is the Indo-Bangla land port of Bangladesh and is the most important, largest land port and land border of Bangladesh, Benapole land port is the about 90% of the imported Indian goods enter Bangladesh through this port. Geographically Benapole is a major strategically point for border trading between India and Bangladesh owing its proximity to Kolkata. Benapole land port situated at Sarsa Upazila of Jashore district of Bangladesh, a northern part of Bangladesh and by the Indo-Bangla border belt, where established many mill, bus stop, transport stands, slums, markets, mills, factories, commercial institutions, industries etc. and schools, colleges, universities, two brothels, commercial marts, and other different institutions. Sarsa Upazila population are 309633 whereas male 158449, female 151184; Muslim 301336, Hindu 8061. Regularly thousands of transports, foreign buses, trucks, covered van, train etc. come and go, where thousands of people regularly come and go. In Benapole, there are many sex workers dealing with people, especially the youths (students, transport and mill workers) in hotels, huts, slums, houses, slums, hostels, streets, thatched houses, brothel, open places, etc. and the main customers are the youths, especially students, mill workers, transport workers, etc. who are unaware about the bad affects of HIV/AIDS, sources, how spread, how to prevent, how to keep safe and safe sex. So, they are in high risks of HIV/AIDS, especially the youths, because, they have come from different areas and getting sexual facilities in border belt areas and involving in sexual activities due to age, whereas they are totally unaware about the bad affects of HIV/AIDS, sources, how spread, how to prevent and safe sex. So, education on HIV/AIDS, awareness rising on information, sources, how spread, how to prevent and safe sex is very important. Otherwise, it many spread among the students and youths in town areas severely.
