Water & Sanitation (WATSAN)


A big number of Royhinga people in Myanmar have died by Genocide Problems. A number of Royhinga Muslim People are victims of this violence and lost their lives in Myanmar. To save the life of these affected Royhinga people from this mournful situation , more than 1,500,000 Royhingas has taken shelter in Bangladesh especially Ukhiya and Tecknaf  Upazila under Cox’s Bazar district which called Un registered Mayanmar Nations(UMN). These Rohinga victims have been living in inhumanity environment in this location. They are living here through camps with vulnerability. Conditions of these camps are too bad. These Royhinga victims have been living in the camps with broken house, full of water and muddy. They have no food, no shelter, no medicine, no human security. The Rahiyanga victims are suffering from various problems especially Water & Sanitation (WATSAN) issues.  Many women & Children including disabled are affected by Water born diseases causes of Poor Water & Sanitation (WATSAN) level in the Rahiyanga Camps. Most of them are uneducated and have no health education. Rohiyaga Refugees are not conscious on Personal Health & Hygiene practices especially Rahiyanga women. They have no technical knowledge also on WATSAN issues. Many National and International NGOs have been implementing development projects like WATSAN here. But it is not sufficient. The organization Bhagni Nivedita Manchya (BNM) has taken initiatives to provide support to the Rahiyanga victims on WATSAN issues through Motivation and Technical supports through this project supported  for Humanitarian Response in Cox’s Bazar
